Switching from csTimer? Your solves come with you.
inphner is a free cube timer I built because I wanted csTimer's features in something calmer to look at. You don't have to start over to try it. Your csTimer history imports in a minute.
Moving your sessions over
- In csTimer, open Export and choose Export to file. That gives you a .txt file.
- In inphner, go to Settings → Data → Import and pick that file.
- Check the counts it shows you, then confirm. Nothing is written until you do, and you can undo it afterwards.
Times, +2s and DNFs, scrambles, comments and sessions all come across. csTimer's CSV export works too. And if you ever want to go back, inphner can write a csTimer file for you.
What's different
The stats follow the WCA rules properly, down to how averages are trimmed and rounded, and they update instantly even with tens of thousands of solves in a session. There are charts for your trend, your spread of times, your PBs over time and how much you've practised.
There's a real PLL, OLL and F2L trainer that keeps giving you the cases you're slowest at, and on a phone you can install it and use it offline. Tools has optimal cross and XCross hints, a scramble sheet you can print, a metronome and a BLD memo helper.
What stays the same
Hold space until the time goes green, let go, any key stops. WCA inspection with the automatic +2 and DNF, random-state scrambles for every event, typing in times, splits, as many sessions as you like.
There's no account to make. Your solves are saved in your browser. Sign in with Google if you want them on all your devices (they sync through your own Google Drive), or export a backup now and then (it'll remind you).
