Terms of service

inphner is a free speedcubing timer, stats tool and algorithm trainer at inphner.com. Using it means you agree to these terms.

Last updated 26 October 2026.

It's free, and so is the code

inphner costs nothing and has no accounts or paid plans. The source code is free software under the GNU AGPL-3.0, which sets the rules for copying, changing and running your own version.

Your data is your responsibility

Your solves are stored in your browser, and in your own Google Drive if you turn on sync (see the privacy policy). Browsers can clear stored data, and devices get lost, so export a backup from Settings → Data now and then. I can't recover data that has been deleted from your browser or your Drive.

Google Drive sync

Sync is optional and uses your Google account, so Google's own terms apply to it as well. Please don't use the sync service for anything except syncing your own inphner data, and don't try to overload or misuse it. I may limit or stop it to keep it running for everyone.

No warranty

inphner is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. I work to keep the timing accurate and the stats correct, but I can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or suited to any particular purpose, including official competitions. As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage from using it, including lost solves.

Changes

I may change inphner or these terms at any time. The current terms are always on this page, with the date they were last changed. Questions: inph@inphner.com.
